Shiner Country Inn

Could be a little cleaner. Clean the ceiling fans and behind the nightstand c’mon. However the place is super charming with a lot of vintage style and the showers are like original from the 1950’s. Good location and price.

Went to Shiner Fest this weekend and reserved a room here. Yes, it's a bit old and the room was small compared to "chain" hotels, but we found it to be very clean and charming. Reminds this old gal of the old Mom and Pop motor Inns before super hi ways. Loved the ceiling fan and colorful quilt kept us warm. Although we didn't stay long enough to utilize it, there's a BBQ area as well as a place for a camp fire. We will definitely stay here next time we visit Shiner.

This is a delayed review, but stayed stayed at Shiner Country Inn in May for an overnight solo motorcycle trip. Was a great location to walk into town to visit Shiner brewery then have dinner at Shiner Place Saloon on walk back to Inn. Room was comfy, cool and welcoming. Main reason for review is I left my wedding band on the desk in room when getting ready to leave. I realized halfway home on motorcycle ride. I live in the Dallas area so not close and was about 2 hrs on way home. I called contact number once realized and was actually able to reach a live person. She texted the cleaning staff while I was on the phone to notify to check or go back to room. Office person said they would get back with me. Sure enough they reached back out later that day as I was riding home, located and secured the ring. I was ecstatic. They mailed my ring to me free of charge later the next week. What I did not mention to the staff is I lost my wife in December and this was the first trip away from home without her. Shiner County Inn has no idea how they saved my grieving process. This service is not common now adays. THANK YOU so much. I cannot recommend Shiner Country Inn enough for Location, accommodations and customer service.

Great low key motel. Perfect for hiding from the mob, the Rat Pack, or your relatives. Comfortable bed, walking distance to Palace Saloon & Mary's TexMex.

Stayed here a few times. Great location, walk to the brewery. Last time, it seemed less special - not enough coffee filters, empty soap in the shower. It's the little things that go a long way. I still recommend it, though.

Stayed one night and had a great time. Walking distance to the brewery. Room was clean and the bed was fine. AC worked great.

Cute cottages. Very clean. Comfy beds. Registered online. No staff on hand, but someone to call if you need help. If we head this way again, we'll stay here. Reasonable price.

Wow Amazing place! Growing up in Shiner i never had the need to stay here, however we now live out of state and recently came in for my sister's wedding. I can't believe i never stayed here, it was amazing, better than some hotels you pay more for! The owners were super nice and accommodating even over heard them telling another guest some of the local restaurants and history and it was awesome because we also tried one of the restaurants that wasn't there when we lived there. The beds were super comfy, clean towels, cold a/c, and free beer! I enjoyed it so much I left them a couple of beers from a brewery near me, hope ya'll enjoy. We will definitely be back soon!
